Cool Story: This truck has been in the family for about 30 years. It’s been used and abused and even suffered an engine fire. Most of us kids learned how to drive in this truck. She was bought new in Mitchell, SD and spent most her life there. My dad swapped the running gear/suspension from a donor 84 Corvette. She is wearing her original factory pink paint. In that time you could order any Ford with any color offered on any model. The build sheet and bill of sale both state “special paint”. I’ve only ever seen pictures of 1 other truck this color. That owner says he thought he had the only one until he saw mine. The 390 is from a Mustang. It’s still a work in progress at this point, needing trans/throttle linkages, drive shaft, and a handful of other things.
